She’s Back!! Rebecca Gill at WordCamp US 2019
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Rebecca Gill :). I would have loved to attend WordCamp US 2019 in St. Louis, MO this year, but alas… Anyway, I was thrilled to see that Rebecca was speaking on Search Engine Optimization. She presented a workshop that was not live streamed, but was uploaded to WordCamp.org a couple of weeks ago. As she always has, she emphasized “Focus on the Human.” I HIGHLY recommend that you watch her free SEO webinars at
Rebecca is also planning a FREE three-day SEO Bootcamp at https://www.seobootcamp.com/ this coming January 2020. Make sure to register and tune in January 21-23, 2020 from 1:00-4:00 pm EST. I know I will because I always learn something new. She’ll be speaking about website personas (aka your ideal customer), keyword mapping, search intent, semantic phrases, content audits, meta titles and descriptions, internal linking and much, much more.
Also, Rebecca and Cory Miller (founder of iThemes) are starting a new venture together called Digital Marketing Kitchen. Sign up at https://digitalmarketingkitchen.com/ to find out when they launch. It should be fun and highly educational!

iThemes’ Free SEO Webinars by Rebecca Gill
After a friend was pondering on Facebook whether Yoast’s paid training was good or not, it suddenly dawned on me that iThemes Training’s free SEO training webinars by search engine optimization expert, Rebecca Gill, were available on their website, but not searchable unless you’re logged in. There’s a lot more to SEO than what Yoast can guide you through. Here’s a listing of Rebecca’s SEO webinars for the past four years or so. I recommend starting at the bottom with the Basics bootcamp and working your way up.

Rebecca’s Other Free Resources
You can also find Rebecca on Slideshare, Facebook (SEO Launchpad), her terrific podcast, SEObits.fm, and free SEO webinars on YouTube. I get nothing from recommending Rebecca. I just want you to have access to her very generous free education resources.
iThemes’ Training and Toolkit
If you enjoy these free SEO webinars from Rebecca and are interested in more iThemes Training, I’m a member of (affiliate link) iThemes WordPress Toolkit – All-Inclusive Package, so I also have access to all of their paid webinars (affiliate link) iThemes Training. I highly recommend the Toolkit as IMHO the training alone is easily worth the price of admission. They have several paid bootcamps on various subjects throughout the year that are well worth it. Both of Rebecca’s bootcamps on Google Analytics and Website Audits are there, too. In addition, you get their premium (affiliate link) iThemes Security Pro plugin, as well as several others that are industry standards. These affiliate links help me to bring you this valuable information. I don’t recommend many products and use and love those that I do recommend.
Our Own SEO Guides
Last, but not least, I’d like to mention our own series on why technical SEO is so important, or “The Need for Speed.” I continue this series with real data from real websites at “How to Measure Website Loading Speed.” You can also join our free Facebook group for more from the world of digital marketing.
